Qualifications
Richard E. Haas, CLU, AIF®, M.S. (taxation) began his career helping successful families on October 1,1969 and is founder and president of Financial Catalyst Group. He has written extensively on business, estate planning, and investment planning, and authored the book Advanced Wealth Transfer Under New Tax Laws, published by Bonus Books. He has spoken to groups in several states on the subject of advanced wealth transfer.
Haas has served on the planned giving committees of a number of nonprofits. He was co-founder of The Fistula Foundation in 2000 and served as its chairman until July, 2005. He is located at Financial Catalyst Group headquarters in San Jose, Ca. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc. His California Insurance Agent License number is 0391885. Haas is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.
